About our school...                

 

My name is Julia Drozdowskij and I am the Headteacher of Norbury School. Thank you for your interest in the School. Every Headteacher will claim that their school is unique, however we know that this is the case at Norbury. It is a special, warm and welcoming community which tries its hardest to provide excellent life opportunities for its pupils.

 

We are a large, multi-cultural and multi-ethnic primary with over forty languages spoken amongst the staff and students. We are never complacent about the progress of our pupils and staff work tirelessly to provide a stable, yet stimulating, environment in which our children can achieve.  In our school we value academic, creative and social progress and we endeavour to prepare each child to face the challenges of the 21st Century. Our motto - 'The World in a School' signifies the importance we place on future world citizenship and global education.  This is symbolised, and realised, by our link with Kigezi School in the Masindi Province of Uganda.
